Mercury is a lead provider of high-speed internet and digital phone services in Kansas, US. We were invited to review some of their products, one of them being their internal admin dashboard that is used by all of their staff and the other being their marketing website.

The Challenge
Our challenge in designing Mercury’s dashboard was to identify their internal staff pain points while using the product on a daily basis. We needed to take into account multiple departments when designing the dashboard, because each one of them has different necessities.

The Solution
Research is where it all started, we looked at the competitors digital designs and also looked at how we could solve the issue listed in the challenge above. In 3 months we researched deeply, iterated quickly, went through several challenges and successfully designed a whole new dashboard structure that allowed their staff to have a better understanding of Mercury's customer data.

Low Fidelity Screens
After considering the features involved and the overall functionality, we designed the template of the website. We transformed our data into wireframe structures known as low fidelity screens and further refined the information architecture screen by screen.

Design System
We developed a thoughtful Design System that it is able to replicate elements quickly while keeping consistency across the product. We designed it in an atomic and scalable form, which allowed the entire product team to work and cooperate easily.
